Star Island Dinner Cruise

A great way to relax at the end of the day. Join us for a picturesque tour of the Piscataqua River, the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth Light and Whaleback light along the way to the Isles of Shoals. At the Shoals you will disembark on Star Island for a family-style all you can eat dinner. All meals include beverages and dessert. Prior to the meal you will have a few minutes to walk around the island, take in the sights, visit the historic Oceanic Hotel and more. Dress comfortably and bring a sweater for the cool ocean breezes. The boat will depart for the mainland at 7:45 PM arriving back at the dock by 9:00PM.

Evening Cruise

Join us for a relaxing sunset or evening cool-off sightseeing cruise. This is a great way to end the day with family, friends, or business colleagues. Whether it's been a long, hot day at the office, too much shopping, or just part of a vacation, taking a relaxing tour of our waterways can set this day apart from all others.

Whale Watching

The Gulf of Maine and Jefferys Ledge provide us with a unique opportunity to observe the humpback, finback, and minke whales. Jefferys Ledge's cold, nutrient-rich waters support the largest population of whales on the East Coast. Often white-sided dolphins, harbor seals, and sunfish can also be sighted.

For those who enjoy bird-watching, we often encounter pelagic birds such as Wilson's Storm Petrels, Greater and Sooty Shearwaters, Gannets, Fulmars, Terns, and many other species.

Five Lighthouses

A lighthouse enthusiast or anyone in awe of these lights can take in the five local lighthouses and learn about their rich and sometimes ghostly histories. We will visit Portsmouth Harbor Light (Fort Constitution), Whaleback Light, White Island Light, Boon Island Light, and Cape Neddick (Nubble) Light.

Isles of Shoals

Learn about buried treasure, Shoals Marine Lab (Cornell University), the ghosts of Smuttynose, the White Island Lighthouse, and more. The breathtaking Isles of Shoals sits about six miles off the mainland. Historians say the islands got their name from the large numbers of fish "shoaling" or schooling in the island waters.

Settled by Captain John Smith, the Isles of Shoals have a diverse history as a fishing village in colonial times, a hideout for pirates - including Black Beard - and a turn-of-the-century resort. Little-known but historically crucial, these islands offer beauty and history to those who want to revel in the scenery and sea air.

*Birdwatchers: Bring your binoculars!

Piscataqua River Cruise

Relax and enjoy the beauty of the summertime river with its beautiful sailboats, tugboats, cruise ships, ocean liners, or the brilliant fall foliage as we cruise through the Piscataqua River. Learn about this historically rich river, adjoining waterways, and land-side facilities. The history of the area includes ship building, forts, submarines, ship wrecks and modern time shipping. The Piscataqua is also home to the oldest working Navy submarine facility in the United States. On many a day you will be able to see modern submarines at its docks. Bring your binoculars!
